Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between one and their therapist.
The therapeutic process is a dynamic experience that may incorporate an array of evidence-based techniques, depending on your specific goals for treatment. My area of expertise includes providing effective treatment for trauma, depression/anxiety, grief/loss, and life transitions. I primarily work using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) treatment approach and EMDR.
As a therapist, I believe in holistic models of treatment, which considers the physical, spiritual, mental, social, and emotional aspects of our being. Building trust and fostering a positive therapeutic relationship are crucial foundations in achieving successful treatment outcomes. I understand that finding a therapist that suits your needs can be challenging. As someone who also attends therapy, I know firsthand how vital it is to feel at ease and establish a positive therapeutic connection.
My primary objective as a therapist is to meet you where you are currently and support you throughout your journey of personal growth and understanding.
Prior to meeting with someone I schedule a 10-15 minute complimetary phone screening to ensure we’re a good match, discuss goals for therapy, and clarify availability, etc. If you’re interested in working together, please submit an inquiry via the “Contact” page on this website.
Thank you!
